Prism Slide - Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Prism Slide app ("the app") handles and why. The app is published by CTRLSTORY S.R.L., a company registered in Romania ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Summary
- We do not ask for your name or email address, and the app has no user accounts.
- Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob collects some data from your device to deliver and measure ads.
- If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under Options → Privacy options in the app.
Data stored on your device
The app saves your puzzle progress, statistics, and settings (language, sound, theme, and so on) in the app's local storage on your device. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app uses Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, to show banner and full-screen ads. To serve, limit, measure and (where permitted) personalize ads, and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process:
- device identifiers such as your Android Advertising ID;
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- ad interaction data (which ads were shown, tapped or closed) and diagnostic data.
We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you. Google processes it under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent and legal basis
For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the app uses Google's consent tool (User Messaging Platform) on first launch. Personalized ads are shown only if you consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalized ads. These rely on limited data used to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud, based on our legitimate interest in funding a free app (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time under Options → Privacy options in the app.
You can also reset your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads for all apps, in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Internet access
The game itself works offline. The app connects to the internet only to load ads and the consent form.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most requests about ad data are best directed to Google. You can still contact us and we will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
Changes
We may update this policy, for example when the app adds features. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
